A Message from our President

On behalf of the dynamic and dedicated members of the Sandhills Alumnae Chapter (SAC) of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, thank you for taking time to visit our chapter website.

As we embark on this next biennium, we are striving to increase community outreach, making a positive impact in communities with programs based on our Five-Point Programmatic Thrust: economic development, educational development, international awareness & involvement, physical & mental health & social action.  Through strategic planning, civic engagement, and the power of sisterhood, we will expand our reach and provide the necessary resources to impact and enhance communities and give a voice to the underrepresented. The Sandhills Alumnae Chapter is a sisterhood of college-educated women committed to providing public service programming and impacting the Hoke, Lee, Montgomery and Moore counties.

The Sandhills Chapter focuses our work under Delta Sigma Theta theme "Forward with Fortitude:  Engaging Our Sisterhood, Empowering Our Communities, Elevating Our Impact" through relevant and impactful offerings centered on service, social action, scholarship, and sisterhood programming during these unprecedented times.

We invite you to attend a chapter meeting if you are a duly initiated member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and visiting in the area.  If you are looking for a local chapter to join, consider the Sandhills Alumnae Chapter.
